I grew up with two younger brothers, and have since embraced the ultimate figurative sisterhood through expanding this platform and raising daughters of my own. In today’s society, we often invest so much in the perfect wedding day, extravagant honeymoon, top notch baby registry, and lavish maternity photos… but our childbirth experiences – which are often the most memorable days of our lives – tend to sit on the back burner for so many women. It doesn’t help that within our medical system, there’s an overwhelming urge to intervene and an obvious lack of trust in the body’s ability to birth on its own. I’ve had two uniquely different experiences having my babies, and because of all this, I’ve set out to change birth for the better… one mom at a time.
