ho ho ho! our 2019 christmas photos are here!

it’s our first christmas as a family of THREE and you know that an epic holiday session was a must. we collaborated with little nest portraits of westfield who hosted a beautiful day of family photography at hidden pond tree farm in mendham, nj… with a special appearance from the betty booth bus, which was just the touch of cool-factor we needed to ‘spruce’ up our cards! (see what i did there? spruce? ok i’m done with the puns, i promise.) read on to hear about our heirloom photo membership and to scroll through our entire batch…. it was so hard to pick our favorites!

as a part of little nest’s heirloom membership, we receive four individual family sessions, unlimited photopop events, and 50 digital images over the course of a year! this membership starts at $79 per month plus a $100 one-time enrollment fee, and it’s worth every penny to know that all your family’s milestones are covered (and beautifully). we did indie’s newborn shoot as our first family session, then we attended the father’s day photopop, and now our holiday session was the second! we’ll be doing a cakesmash when indie turns one (way too soon for my liking!) and technically we’ll put one more session in there before the year is through. what should we do?!

for this particular set of photos we wanted to kick the traditional holiday card up a notch. these photos really show off indie’s personality as well as our own personal styles. i’m not one for the big frilly christmas dresses, and i thought indie looked absolutely delish in a christmas-tree headband and corduroy dress. the little nest team couldn’t get over how big she’d gotten since they last saw her. did you know they also photographed my baby shower before she was born!?

the betty booth bus prop was GENIUS. i’m hoping this bus can make an appearance in a future blog post or at an upcoming event of ours because it is just too cool! it’s a vintage volkswagon from the 70’s and it doubles as a photobooth that you can rent – talk about a conversation piece at your next event, right? in this case they decked it out in garland and it fit right into the setup at the tree farm! we were so happy with these photos. they may have some holiday flair, but what we wanted to come out with was a few beautiful timeless portraits, so i’m thrilled that many of them aren’t overly christmas-y (if that makes any sense). i’m framing this blog post’s featured photo for our living room!

this studio is owned and operated by some amazing women and for local moms it seems like a no brainer to join their “family”! if you have any questions about the membership or the studio in general, shoot me a DM on instagram and i’ll tell you all about our experience so far! which picture is your favorite?! happy holidays and merry christmas from the eidelman family… we are so in love with these portraits!
