on the heels of my appearance on the rachael ray show, i got to really experiment with the idea of subscription clothing services and their benefits during pregnancy – so today i’m talking about another service, rent the runway unlimited, that i can really stand behind during this nine month stretch (… literally!)
there’s only so much we really need to purchase considering our bodies are changing drastically on the daily. so i’ve made it my mission to stock up on all the staples, and let subscription services handle the bells + whistles. in this post i’m showing off three dressier looks made possible by rent the runway’s unlimited box. this service is awesome because you choose four pieces and then you are allowed to swap them as much as you want (individually or all at once!) meaning you’re able to strategize ways to get the absolute most out of this subscription! personally, i wore two of my outfits one week – swapped – two of my outfits the next – swapped again! i had 8 beautiful looks in one month and i got so many compliments on the unique pieces that i was sporting. the shipping label is included in your garment bag, so dropping it at your nearest UPS store makes the swapping easy! rent the runway does all the heavy lifting (and dry cleaning!) for you. your only goal is to enjoy having a super stylish baby bump!
i find that this particular service is a stand-out for dressy pieces. if you work a corporate job or you’re constantly attending networking events like i am… this service will totally work for you! now my followers will get 40% off their first month of RTR Unlimited by using the code INDIGOPERK40!
to go into detail about my top three looks, the first is a red ruffle maternity dress from sail to sable that retails at $295. it looks as chic in person as it is in these photos, and the empire waist tie really enhances and flatters my baby bump.
the second look is a lace yoke shift dress by slate + willow. perfect fall pattern, forgiving in the tummy, super cool lace & sleeve details. this frock retails for $360 and looks like a million bucks. this is a great piece if you’re trying to hide your bump, or if you’re early on in your pregancy. (in fact, i wore this piece back at the end of september when my bump was significantly smaller!) – even non pregnant women could wear this piece!
the last look is slightly more casual – an everyday look that’s amplified. you see tons of these ruched bodycon teeshirt style dresses for pregnant women on the racks, but oftentimes they are solid in color to ensure they are a useable basic staple. this is a staple that’s been elevated by soft fabric and a fun pattern! it’s the grey floral sheath from monrow, and at $165 retail price, it’s an amazing deal to rent while you need it and return when you don’t.
which is your favorite of the three looks? would you use a service like this? i’m curious to know if my followers see the same benefit that i do in renting while pregnant. give it a try with INDIGOPERKS40 and tag me in all your RTR Unlimited looks!
