last minute mother’s day dress guide!

tomorrow is a day for celebrating the women who gave us life – and i love any excuse to get dolled up, so today i’m sharing some of my favorite, sophisticated & modest “sunday best” dresses that will make our mama’s proud!

the dress i chose from the gwynnie bee closet is an adrianna papell watercolor a-line dress. you can shop it below, in this silhouette as well as a more fitted one! with a higher neckline and a slightly longer hemline, this dress is feminine, just the right amount of formal, and works for so many different occasions. in my case… mother’s day brunch! swap out the shoes to wear this in the office, or show up to church making a statement! bridal showers… baby showers… i am so in love with this piece because of how versatile it is. and to celebrate mom, going more conservative than usual is a testament to the kind of woman she raised – someone who knows how to dress for the occasion!

i have to give a small nod to this circular crossbody bag from nordstrom because it’s currently my “most worn piece”! the price can’t be beat and it looks adorable with a scarf or tassel accent!
