We’re all sitting around the Tri-State area waiting patiently for Spring to arrive and stay for good…. but in “blog-world” we’re already sporting our Spring styles to give you all the inspo you need for when the weather finally does warm up. Last week’s AR Workshop collaboration was the perfect opportunity to wear an outfit that featured new Spring pieces. If you flipped through those photos, you got an unofficial glimpse of this head to toe look – but today I’m really giving it the attention it deserves! And the best part? The entire look can be found at Target!
Target’s new(ish) line Universal Thread is really one to watch out for this Spring & Summer. The fabrics are airy and soft, the details are plenty, and the vibe is beachy and nautical. I’ve bought several pieces from this line already – stripes, gingham checks, textured chambray…. you name it. The pricepoint says Target but the style says “Madewell/JCrew” and I’m really really happy about it.
For this look, I’m wearing midrise white jeans with the perfect amount of stretch, paired with my new FAVORITE tee. I love basic tees with a twist, and this one sports a ruffle sleeve detail that makes the top wearable in casual atmospheres, or even dressed up! Tuck this bad boy into a pencil skirt, throw on some espadrille wedge sandals and you’re ready for your next bridal shower, Mothers’ Day luncheon, or work event! This top also comes in blue & white stripes. Super, super cute. I’m carrying a Stella & Dot faux-python clutch, but a similar style can be found at Target and boy do I love a “one stop shop” so today I’m promoting a bag that brings out more of the blue in the shirt.
Target has a whole slew of statement necklaces like the one that I’m wearing so pick yourself up something glitzy to really enhance your favorite new spring tee (because I promise you this one is going to be your favorite!) or head over to Francesca’s where I purchased this one for the exact look! I finished this off with my patent leather oxfords by Earthies that I’ve featured plenty of times before. Still a fantastic and comfortable shoe. If you read my post about them this past fall, you know that this brand caters to people with Plantar Fascitis and other “foot issues” (of which I have many, unfortunately)….. so I’m on the lookout for a similar shoe to rock this spring once I can no longer get away with patent leather. As the weather warms up, the patent gets put on the back burner until fall, ladies!
April 2018 is shaping up to be one of Indigo Heights’ most profitable months! I’m very fortunate to be working on a bunch of incredible collaborations so be sure to stay tuned into my instagram account, which is where most of the action happens. Do my photos pop up in your feed? What prompts you to “like” a photo as opposed to just viewing it? I’d love all the feedback I can get, so that I can work to take Indigo Heights to the next level! Thanks for all the constant support, and be sure to check out Universal Thread at Target this Spring for a little something different!
