my father recently turned 60, and we threw him a big surprise birthday bash at his favorite local restaurant with 90 of his nearest & dearest. it was dressy, but low-key at the same time… so when it came to choosing a look, i thought i’d make a statement with sleeves – and i got so many compliments that this entry is dedicated entirely to this flirty, frilly blouse that i snagged at forever21, and all the similar styles that spoke to me as i searched for the perfect ‘statement sleeve’!
i have SO many silky black tops. you really can’t go wrong with them. i pair them with maxi skirts, mini skirts, jeans, and leggings…. just about everything aside from sweats (although i bet i’ll find a way to make that happen too)! this featured top was purchased at the forever21 on magnificent mile in chicago. easily one of the nicest forever21 stores i’ve ever been inside of… everything was clean and shiny and the store had multiple floors – it was heaven!!! since i purchased it back in october, i thought it would be fun to find the closest matches that forever21 was featuring today…. so below i’ve linked you guys to some of my favorites from their website to shop directly!
