you’re probably starting to wonder what on earth you’re going to wear to all the end of year holiday parties you’ve been invited to. between shopping for gifts and trying to stay sane through the holiday season, dress shopping was dead last on my “to-do” list… so i considered myself #blessed when i happened upon a $15 “mock wrap dress” from forever21 that comes in so many gorgeous colors and prints that i HAD to buy three!!!
i love this dress because it moves with you throughout the day (and the elastic waistband really lends itself to copious amounts of christmas cookies and spiked egg nog). it’s the perfect shape for the office (paired with flats), the weekend (as shown – paired with boots) or for a soirée (paired with some killer heels). worn with tights for warmth – or without for a little bit of sexy – this dress will get so many compliments everywhere you go… and it’s a serious conversation piece when you mention the price! i bought it in the floral print you see below – as well as a solid mauve and a cranberry animal print, both of which i’ve linked you to directly!
i’ve gotta give a little bit of love to my gorgeous faux-fur jacket from zara. another conversation-starter, this piece ups the ante from your traditional fur look, but if you like to keep it classic, any faux fur will really look beautiful over one of these dresses as you walk into your company’s christmas party! because let’s be real…. most days you can barely find the time to do your full makeup routine before heading to the office — the holiday party is everyone’s favorite chance to make a statement and feel fabulous!
my gray beret was a lucky find from century21, but i’ve linked to several similar options that you might love and that are available online! i still can’t get over the fact that i spent $45 and managed to get three amazing and flattering and comfortable frocks! if you’re looking to spice up your look for cheap this winter, snag a few of these before they’re sold out! YOU’RE WELCOME! follow along on instagram as i dive head first into christmas festivities! i’ll be heading upstate new york for a snowy getaway at the end of the month and you’re definitely going to want to see what i have planned for the blog!
