… i wanted to see how many w’s i could fit consecutively into the title of this post! i’ve been such a fan of target’s who what wear collection. the line is chock full of flowy dresses and textured skirts that make a serious statement – but it’s getting cold here in brooklyn, so today i’m featuring one of their frocks that’s ideal for winter weather and talking ways to make this look even more cozy & warm!
midi & maxi dresses aren’t just for the summer anymore! i was so pumped to snag this long-sleeved ‘gown’. it’s lined, it’s (nearly) floor-length, and for the price it’s unique and fashion-forward. this dress on it’s own will keep you warmer than most maxis, but on this particular day, i needed an extra layer so i opted for a black faux-fur vest which added a fun wintery touch. i wore my favorite black booties, and in an effort to eliminate bare skin from being exposed to the low temps, i paired them with kneehigh socks that i wore scrunched at the ankle. this felt lighter and more airy than having to spend the entire day strapped into a pair of tights! high socks are a great cold-weather trick when you decide to rock a dress in the wintertime.
