new york fashion week look 5

flower power! after a weekend of luxe, intricate outfits – i took day five of new york fashion week to be a little more comfy in some embroidered jeans and a fuzzy crop top.

i purchased these jeans in italy (taormina, sicily to be specific!) but this style is super on-trend right now, so you’ll find a pair of these virtually anywhere. i’ve linked you to a solid pair of true religions, as well as a budget-friendly pair from target! the top is from zara, and i love it in theory, though i felt it added a lot of bulk to my upper half… so be prepared to watch me experiment with better ways to wear this piece.

i stuck with the flower trend by rocking floral sunglasses and a floral cross bodybag by rebecca minkoff. you can tell i was feeling extra lazy (or better yet exhausted) because i even pulled my hair into a topknot (for the second time during fashion week!) fashion week can take a lot out of you, and you’re really going nonstop for 6 days straight — so while i have to admit this wasn’t my favorite look of the bunch, i was grateful to wear a stretchy pair of jeans for a day before heading into my last and final #nyfw look.
