another italian adventure for the books! we drove an hour and a half from catanzaro (calabria) down to the “tip of the boot” where we boarded a giant boat (car included) and wound up on the island of sicily. we stayed in isola bella, the “lower” section of sicily’s most famous city, taormena. the beach was stunning – with tons of people flocking to it’s rocky grounds. i wore a vertical striped one-piece from shein that was only $14!!! vertical stripes are clutch for shorties like myself. this bathing suit elongated my torso and had me feeling super confident.
at this point in the trip, my tan was finally starting to show (r.i.p tan…. miss you already) — i could imagine this suit’s color combo looking so amazing on darker skinned girls. and i still can not get over the price! i’m such an advocate for the “cheap onepiece” because you can buy several every summer without feeling a stitch of guilt! shop the suit below, and check me out on instagram for daily style inspo!
