it’s that time again! as i mentioned in an earlier post, i have collaborated with tobi on three adorable rompers that i sported throughout the amalfi coast portion of my vacation to italy! the romper i’m featuring today is the “julia lace-up halter romper” which is on sale now for $36!
when i wore this romper, my hubby and i decided to have a quick & easy dinner in our hotel’s restaurant so that we’d have more time to explore positano before the sun went down. i’m glad we did, because we stumbled upon a church with a square where i found this beautiful apricot wall with mosaic designs and knew i had to shoot there! this romper is pastel with a very beachy feel – but as you can see from the photos, it dresses up nicely for a relaxed dinner in a coastal town or village.
since i’m #blessed in the bust department and this romper has an open back, i paired it with my all-time favorite bralette from aerie. it has gorgeous lace accents and a racer back, so it complimented this romper nicely (and made it super comfy at the same time!). i think my favorite part of this piece is the frayed bottoms on the shorts. this detail is intentional, without being sloppy – and fun, without looking childish.
now that i’m (sadly) back in new york, i’ll be finding ways to work this number into my city-chic, early-fall wardrobe. any suggestions? how would you wear this? click here to shop this tobi romper and check out the rest of my accessories below! are you on instagram? find me to stay in the loop!
