a tip of the visor to 70’s beach style

i had a blast shooting this look. i purchased this onepiece from shein on a whim for a whopping $20. it is now on sale for $10, so to celebrate this thrifty find i decided to run with the mod floral pattern that already existed on the suit and take this look to a whole other era.

as you can tell from my last post, i have been obsessed with the free people packable visor (also on sale for $10 a pop!). i’m a petite gal, so the average wide-brimmed beach hat is sometimes excessive on me. this visor gives off the floppy-hat-vibe without completely covering my face. like yes i’m on vacation, leave me alone……. but i’d still like to SEE! totally loving this fab find, which paired beautifully with my light blue tassel earrings from baublebar.

combined with the yellow & red beach chairs in positano, this look was all sorts of 70’s chic. i love how complete an outfit looks when every single piece is a throwback nod. without feeling “costumey”… i think dressing with era-intention is a super cool way to stand out from the crowd — especially on a packed beach! follow along on instagram for more updates while i’m abroad!
