my model moment

omg… sound the alarms because my third (and final) look from my shoot with eric tronolone photography has given me a serious model moment and i. am. dying. over. these. photos!!!!!!!!

i had walked past lupe’s so many times and admired the bubblegum pink and blue exterior, complete with a neon sign and geometric trim. it was basically my aesthetic dream, but it’s on such a busy city corner that i knew this was one of those “i can’t do it alone” moments. eric seriously nailed this shoot. i had recently gotten this cactus-print, off the shoulder frock from francesca’s which matched the west coast desert vibe of the backdrop to a tee. at this point, we were on our third look in one (hot, sticky) morning – so we had become very comfortable with each other and even started to get a little giddy. in my bag i had brought the mega-wedges you see pictured, as well as my go-go leather toms. in reality, i would likely wear this dress with the toms, but this was our ‘balls to the wall’ nylon magazine-inspired fashion shoot and eric was determined to get me to bring out all of the diva feels. for this last look i completely let go, strutted back and forth past the restaurant (despite drizzles that began falling from the sky), thought sassy thoughts, and completely “slayed it” – as eric would say! really though, this outfit is super cute for a backyard bbq, a day at the boardwalk, or a casual outdoor dinner. the dress is comfortable, forgiving, and the pattern makes a subtle statement. shop the entire look below, and don’t forget to follow me on instagram to stay looped-in!
