if you read my last post, you know all about my experience getting my hair blown out and styled at mb45 studio. it happened to be my (actual) 30th birthday that day, and i was not about to sit home with fabulous hair – so i hit the town for dinner and cocktails in some amazingly comfy culottes from zara and a matching mod-floral crop top.
i linked a similar pair of culottes and a similar top below. this outfit got so many compliments and my favorite part is that the pants were stretchy enough to get me through an intensely large meal at mission chinese food. i mean, it was nuts. thank god i didn’t wear anything that buttons or zips! but hey, it was my birthday, right? my saffron-hued kate spade cross body acted as a statement piece (it actually compliments the pink in my top really well) – and i had gotten some gorgeous turquoise jewelry from my hubby earlier that day that i just needed to wear, so my jewelry made for another pop of color in this look. i have so much fun mixing colors, patterns and prints. with the black shoes, black pants and black as the base in my top… i was able to have fun with the accessories here. these pants are going to become my new favorites – i can feel it! follow me on instagram to stay in the loop!
