“TEN is inspired by patterns, culture, equality, music, dreamers, activists, outliers and love.”
… and that is exactly why i’ve partnered with them for this feature! we are living in a time where compassion and goodness is so greatly necessary, and when i heard that this new accessories label believes in producing locally-sourced, all-american handmade goods to support nonprofits, i knew i had to represent their (stylish) cause. TEN clothing has just signed on to work with inable as their official nonprofit partner. inable works to empower the children of rural africa by providing them with resources that allow them to pursue their capabilities, regardless of disability or circumstance. their efforts are focused on computer labs and libraries geared toward assisting blind and visually impaired students through assistive technology. inable also invests in research and development in an effort to further their breakthroughs. #TENgivesback by donating $10 of every purchase to this amazing nonprofit.

TEN’s packaging is awesome. it stands out in the mail which was super exciting when it arrived. it’s high-quality is reinforced by the label’s tagline: “get as good as you give”

TEN’s creator, nick elefante, finds the inspiration for all of his patterns and designs straight from his surroundings. everything in this collection is created through his own vision. i had to have the classic pom-pom beanie (since pom-poms are such a thing right now)…. but what really stood out most to me was the sunburst silk scarf. this terra-cotta, clay colored head scarf is earthy with a tribal pop. it can be worn so many different ways, and i got a ton of compliments each time i’ve worn it!

above, i wore the headscarf to sunday brunch in a ‘pinup’ style – soft bouncy waves and a feminine textured top complete the look. below, i’ve gone full ‘boho’. i paired my headwear with the ‘white stone arc pendant’ by stella & dot and the off-the-shoulder ‘asteroid top’ from mystique boutique.

i’m so impressed with the quality, the style, and the overall experience i’ve had working with TEN clothing. if you’re looking to purchase a gift, or to reward yourself for surviving another winter… a trinket from TEN clothing is the ideal accessory with a backstory to add to your spring 2017 wardrobe. and if you’re in the washington d.c. area, check out their pop up shop at the c.a.t walk boutique – this saturday, march 11th, from 5-8pm!
