for look number one, i kept it simple and nanny-chic, since i was on my way to work. i threw on one of my favorite graphic tee’s and some jeans (both from francesca’s) and i let the accessories do the talking!

for this look, i wanted the earrings to really stand out (because they’re ah-ma-zing!!!), and i wanted to prove that a super dressy statement earring could still be worn with jeans and a tee. these are the nila chandeliers and they retail for $49. dress these wayyyy up with your favorite dress… a springy tunic…. or even a high-neck romper/topknot combo.

since the nila’s pack such a punch, they go perfectly with the ‘simple knot collar’. at $44, this is one of those wardrobe must-haves. with the resurrection of the choker trend, we all have a hint of hesitation that we might be going full-force 90’s grunge, and the simple knot collar is the perfect solution. it gives the appearance of a choker without sitting super high on the neck. in fact, this piece is made to sit right at the collarbone, drawing the eye to all the right places. it’s lightweight, minimalist and relatable.

i completed the look with a few bracelets: the matching ‘simple knot cuff’ ($34) and the ‘gilded path double wrap bracelet’ in white ($59). the cuff gives off the same lightweight, minimalist and chic vibe as it’s matching collar. they look beautiful together, and work reallywell with a busy/printed evening gown or maxi dress (when you need some jewelry but there’s already a lot going on!). the wrap is made of genuine leather and is hand-embroidered with mixed metal beading, which makes it the perfect piece to accent literally any outfit, whether your jewelry leans silver or gold. you can adjust the fit, which is another awesome feature for someone who’s on the petite side, like me. where my tiny-wrist-gals at?!

i am so obsessed with this look, and i can’t wait to dress these pieces up even more this spring and summer. follow stella & dot on instagram and facebook for many more combos and looks. once again, you can shop my trunk show here to find yourself some spring staples! what’s your favorite piece from this look? how would you style these pieces? comment below and tag #stelladotstyle on instagram!
